Motivation Letter Network Technician
A good motivation letter for Network Technician connects a concrete personal experience with what the position actually requires - not a summary of the CV. Structure: salutation, a concrete reference to the position or company, a substantiated example from your own experience, an honest closing.
Example
Dear Mr. Baumann At my current employer, a logistics company with six sites in German-speaking Switzerland, I am responsible for the campus network with around 900 ports and the WLAN coverage of four warehouses. The Pratteln warehouse was a stubborn case: high-bay racking causes reflections, forklifts move quickly, and handheld scanners regularly lost connection. After a new site survey and redistribution of access points, connection drops are now below one percent. Your posting mentions an upcoming migration to Aruba CX. I have supported a comparable transition at two sites and know the pitfalls in uplink configuration. I renewed my CCNA certification in 2025. I am available for weekend work during migrations. Kind regards
Common Mistakes
- CCNA or an equivalent certification is missing or has expired
- No indication of the size and complexity of the networks managed
- Experience with change processes is not mentioned, even though it is central in large environments
- Only vendor names are listed instead of describing what was actually configured
